Whale Shark Tee

The gentle giant. The biggest fish in the sea and one of the calmest, the whale shark drifts across whole oceans with its mouth open, filtering the smallest things from the water. No two are ever marked the same, the scatter of pale spots across its back a fingerprint researchers use to tell one individual from another, oceans and years apart. We painted it in soft grey-blue and set it across the back with its Latin name and field notes. Understated, and quietly the favourite of the collection.

Printed on the Gildan Softstyle 64000, a lightweight 100% ring-spun cotton tee (4.5 oz/yd², 153 g/m²) that feels soft and easy to wear all year round. Classic fit with a crew neckline for a clean, versatile look, twill-tape reinforced shoulders, no side seams for a smoother drape, and a ribbed-knit collar that resists curling. Finished with a pearlized tear-away label for total comfort. Made with ethically grown US cotton (Gildan is a member of the US Cotton Trust Protocol) and OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certified. The design is printed large across the back with a small mark at the chest. Natural white, though due to the fabric it may read slightly off-white rather than bright white. Unisex. Rhincodon typus.
