Whale Shark Sweatshirt

The gentle giant, in something warmer. The biggest fish in the sea and one of the calmest, the whale shark drifts across whole oceans with its mouth open, filtering the smallest things from the water. No two are ever marked the same, the scatter of pale spots across its back a fingerprint researchers use to tell one individual from another, oceans and years apart. We painted it in soft grey-blue and set it across the back with its Latin name and field notes. Calm, understated, made for the colder days.

A medium-heavy crewneck in a soft 8.0 oz (271 g/m²) 50/50 cotton-poly blend that drapes cleanly and feels warm without weight. Tubular knit construction with no side seams for a smooth silhouette, a ribbed-knit collar, and double-needle stitching at the shoulders, cuffs and waistband for shape retention and longevity. Made with OEKO-TEX certified dyes and ethically grown US cotton, with a soft grey tear-away label for itch-free wear. The design is printed large across the back with a small mark at the chest.
